§ 2807 Court Time Extension Rules

• •If you need more time to finish something the court told you to do, you can ask for extra time.
• •You have to ask for more time *before* the deadline runs out.
• •The court can say yes or no to giving you more time.

You have 30 days to fix a problem in your house because the court said so, but you need more time.

You can ask the court for extra days *before* the 30 days are up. If the court says yes, you get more time. If you wait until after the 30 days, you can’t ask anymore.
