§ 30641 Hearing Intervention Rights

Key Takeaways

  • •If there's a meeting about a problem, other people who care can join in.
  • •They can talk and share their side of the story too.
  • •Even if they weren’t part of the problem at first, they can still speak up.

Example

Your neighbor complains to the city about a noisy factory. You also hate the noise but weren’t part of the first complaint.

You can go to the meeting, tell the city how the noise bothers you, and share proof like recordings.
