§ 25810 Local Government Hearing Intervention

Key Takeaways

  • •If there's a meeting about a problem, others can join in even if they didn't start it.
  • •They can talk and share their side of the story too.
  • •This is for big groups like city leaders, not just anyone.

Example

A group of neighbors asks the city to change a rule about parking. Another neighbor who wasn’t part of the first group can join the meeting.

This neighbor can speak up and give their own reasons why the parking rule should or shouldn’t change.
