§ 26425 Hearing Adjournment Rules

Key Takeaways

  • •The board can stop and restart the meeting about the agreement whenever they want.
  • •They don’t have to tell everyone again when they restart the meeting.
  • •They just write down when and where the next meeting will be.

Example

Imagine your school meeting about a new rule gets paused because the principal is busy.

The principal doesn’t have to call or text everyone to tell them when the meeting starts again. They just write it down in the meeting notes, like 'Next meeting: Tuesday at 3 PM in the gym.'
