§ 26421 District-City Agreement Approval

Key Takeaways

  • •The deal between the district and the city only starts when both sides agree the right way.
  • •The board must make a rule that shows the whole deal and says they want to do it.
  • •This rule was added a long time ago, in 1955.

Example

Imagine your school and the city want to share a playground.

The deal to share the playground only works if both the school and the city agree and follow the rules. The school board has to write down the whole deal and say they want to do it.
