§ 100155 Cmgc Project Progress Report

When a VTA project that uses the CMGC way of doing things is finished, VTA has to write a progress report for the board that lists lots of details about the project.

Key Takeaways

  • •VTA must create a progress report after a CMGC project is done.
  • •The report must include description, awardee, cost and schedule numbers, protest info, how bids were evaluated, problems faced, solutions, and improvement ideas.
  • •The report is given to the board and posted online for the public.

Example

VTA finishes building a new bus depot using the CMGC method.

VTA writes a report that says what the depot is, who built it, how much money was planned versus spent, the timeline that was planned versus the actual finish date, any complaints that were filed about the bidding, how they chose the winner, any problems that came up and how they fixed them, and ideas to make the CMGC method better. Then they put the report on VTA’s website for anyone to see.
