§ 103399 Cmgc Project Progress Report

When a project that used the CMGC method is finished, the district must write a progress report for the board that covers what the project was, who did the work, costs, schedule, any protests, how the contractor was chosen, problems that came up, and ideas for improvement, and then put that report online.

Key Takeaways

  • •The district must prepare a progress report after any CMGC project is finished.
  • •The report must include details like project description, awardee, cost and schedule numbers, protests, evaluation methods, challenges, and improvement ideas.
  • •The completed report must be posted on the district’s Internet website.

Example

A school district builds a new high‑school gym using the CMGC delivery method.

After the gym is completed, the district has to send a report to the board that says what the gym project was, which construction company got the contract, the budgeted and actual costs, the planned and real finish dates, any complaints about the bidding process, how they decided which bid was best, any surprises that happened during construction and how they fixed them, and suggestions for making future CMGC projects better. Then they must upload that report to the district’s website for anyone to see.
