§ 29587 Crystallized Honey Labeling

Key Takeaways

  • •If honey turns hard or grainy (crystallized), it must be labeled clearly.
  • •The label must say 'crystallized' so people know before they buy it.
  • •The label should be easy to see, like on a sign near the honey.

Example

You go to a store and see a jar of honey that looks thick and grainy instead of liquid.

The store must have a sign next to it that says 'crystallized' so you know it’s not spoiled, just hardened.
