§ 4225 Service Area Budget Statement

Key Takeaways

  • •Every year, before June 15th, the department must make a money plan for each service area.
  • •The plan must show how much money is needed to run the service area and give out water for the next year.
  • •This helps make sure there's enough money to keep the water service working.

Example

Imagine your neighborhood needs water for the next year.

The water department has to make a list before June 15th showing how much money they need to keep the water flowing and manage everything. This way, they don’t run out of money and can keep giving you water.
