§ 2772 Stream Decree Recording Requirements

• •The court clerk must make a copy of the official decision (decree) about a stream or river.
• •This copy must be given to the county recorder’s office for free—no payment needed.
• •The copy must also be sent to the board that oversees these matters.
• •This rule applies to every county where the stream or river flows through.

A court decides who can use water from a river that runs through three counties.

The court clerk must make a copy of that decision and send it for free to the recorder’s office in each of those three counties, plus the board in charge.
