§ 2527 Stream System Notice Requirements

• •The notice must be published in a newspaper once a week for four weeks in a row.
• •The first notice must be published within 20 days of when the notice is issued.
• •The notice must also be mailed to all landowners near the stream or who use water from the stream within those same 20 days.

If the government wants to tell people about changes to a river that runs through a town, they have to put an ad in the local newspaper every week for a month.

They also have to send letters to everyone who owns land next to the river or uses its water, all within 20 days of deciding to send the notice.
