§ 14913 Public Entity Grants Loans

• •The government can give money or loans to local groups, state offices, or nonprofits to help with certain projects.

A small town wants to build a new park but doesn’t have enough money.

The town can ask the government for a grant or loan to help pay for the park. If the government agrees, they’ll make a contract saying how the money can be used.
