§ 14906 Habitat And Land Management

Property acquired pursuant to this chapter shall be managed as upland habitat, wetlands, riparian habitat, or nonirrigated agricultural land, as appropriate. The department shall coordinate with the Department of Fish and Game to ensure that adequate funding is available for management of the retirement land and use of water for environmental purposes. (Added by Stats. 1992, Ch. 959, Sec. 1. Effective January 1, 1993. Section operative July 1, 1993, pursuant to Section 14920.)
