§ 90793 District Boundary Agreement Hearing

Key Takeaways

  • •If you don't speak up in writing against a plan to change the district's boundaries, it means you agree with it.
  • •The board will listen to all complaints about the plan before deciding.
  • •If you don't say anything, you can't complain later.

Example

Your neighborhood is part of a school district, and the board wants to change the boundaries so your kids go to a different school.

If you don’t write to the board saying you don’t like the change, they’ll think you’re okay with it. If you don’t speak up, you can’t stop the change later.
