§ 30202 Los Angeles Board Appointments

Key Takeaways

  • •The law says the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors must pick the first group of people to run a new district.
  • •They have to do this at their first normal meeting after the law starts.
  • •The number of people they pick is decided by another part of the law (Section 30201).

Example

Imagine your school just made a new student council, and the principal has to pick the first members.

The law is like a rule saying the principal must pick the first council members at the next school meeting, and the number of members is already decided by another rule.
