• •The board can pause and reschedule the meeting without sending new notices, just by writing down the new time and place in their meeting notes.
• •If no one complains or if the board says no to the complaints, they can officially add the area (or part of it) to the special transit service district.
• •This rule was added a long time ago, in 1959.

If the meeting needs to stop and continue another day, the board just writes down the new time and place in their notes—they don’t have to send out new flyers or emails. If no one protests or the board ignores the protests, they can vote to add the new bus route to your area.
