§ 24909 Board Meeting Voting Rules

• •Ordinances can only be passed during regular or adjourned regular meetings.
• •Any decision (ordinance, resolution, or motion) needs more than half of the directors to vote 'yes' to be valid.

They can't vote on the new parking rule the same day they talk about it. They have to wait at least three days and vote during a normal meeting. Also, more than half of the board members must agree to make the rule official.
