§ 12850 Large District Utility Requirements

• •This rule only applies to big areas with at least 250,000 people.
• •The area must have run its own electric, water, or sewage system for at least 8 years.
• •If the area doesn’t meet these two things, this rule doesn’t apply.

A small town with 50,000 people wants to follow this rule.

The town can’t use this rule because it doesn’t have enough people (needs 250,000 or more).
