§ 106023 District Board Priorities

• •The board must adopt priorities.
• •Those priorities have to reflect the district’s goals.
• •The rule has been in effect since January 1, 2010.

A school district board meets and decides its top priorities for the year, such as improving test scores and upgrading libraries.

Because of this law, the board must make sure those priorities line up with the overall goals the district has already set, like higher graduation rates or better student safety.
