§ 102160 District Officer Appointments

The officers of the district shall consist of the members of the board, and the chair, chair pro tem, and secretary, who shall be selected from the members of the board, except that the secretary may alternatively be an employee of the district appointed by the board. The board may also hire and appoint a general manager, a legal counsel, a controller, a treasurer, and such other officers, assistants, and deputies as the board may deem necessary.
