Key Takeaways

  • •There is a board of five people who help with farm worker issues.
  • •The Governor picks these people, and they serve for five years.
  • •They don’t all start at the same time; their start times are spread out over a few years.
  • •The Governor can remove a member if they don’t do their job or do something wrong.

Example

Imagine a group of people who help solve problems between farm workers and their bosses.

This law says the group has five members, picked by the Governor, who serve for five years each. They start at different times so not everyone is new at once.
