• •Your job, rank, and rights stayed the same after the move, just like before.
• •This rule doesn’t apply to jobs that don’t follow normal state worker rules.

Imagine you worked in an office helping people get their benefits. One day, your boss says your whole team is moving to a new office, but you keep the same job, pay, and desk.

This law says that even though your team moved to a new department, nothing bad happens to your job. You keep doing what you did before, with the same rules and pay.
