§ 11560 Substance Abuse Treatment Units

The Department of Corrections and the Department of the Youth Authority are authorized to establish substance abuse treatment control units in state correctional facilities or training schools or as separate establishments for any study, research, and treatment that may be necessary for the control of the addiction or habituation, or imminent addiction or habituation, to controlled substances or alcohol of persons committed to the custody of the Director of Corrections or the Director of the Youth Authority. (Amended by Stats. 1992, Ch. 465, Sec. 2. Effective January 1, 1993.)
