§ 112280 Existing Regulations Remain Effective

Key Takeaways

  • •Old rules stay in place until new ones are made.
  • •The department has to make new rules before the old ones go away.
  • •This is about keeping things running smoothly while new rules are being written.

Example

Imagine you have old school rules, like raising your hand to talk. The teacher says they’ll make new rules soon, but until then, you still have to raise your hand.

The old rules don’t disappear right away. They stay until the teacher (or in this case, the department) makes new ones.
