§ 1268 Petition Hearing Notification Process

Upon receipt of a petition, the executive director shall do all of the following: (a) Schedule an item for the next regular meeting of the board for the purposes of providing notice to the public and for the executive director to publish the signed submission and request for a hearing on the petition into the record. (b) Provide all copies of all filed materials to the administrative law judge assigned upon the request of the board pursuant to Section 1261 for the purpose of administering the hearing on the petition. (c) Provide notification to the petitioner and to every stakeholder who requested to participate in prepetition meetings pursuant to Section 1262 of all of the following: (1) The name and contact information of the administrative law judge assigned to administer the hearing on the petition. (2) The official date of the filing of the petition with the board. (3) The requirement of interested stakeholders to file a request to intervene within 20 calendar days of petition filing pursuant to Section 1269. (Added by Stats. 2022, Ch. 769, Sec. 16.
