§ 19578 Adverse Action Hearing Procedures

Except as provided in Section 19576, whenever an answer is filed to an adverse action, the board or its authorized representative shall within a reasonable time hold a hearing. The board shall notify the parties of the time and place of the hearing. The hearing shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Section 11513 of the Government Code, except that the employee and other persons may be examined as provided in Section 19580, and the parties may submit all proper and competent evidence against or in support of the causes. (Amended by Stats. 2008, Ch. 150, Sec. 17. Effective January 1, 2009.)
