§ 11554 State Director Salaries

Key Takeaways

  • •Certain important state jobs get a base salary of $75,354 every year.
  • •If other state workers get a raise, these jobs get a similar raise, but not more than what others get.
  • •This rule started in 1988 and was updated in 2009.

Example

If all state workers get a 3% raise, the Director of Fair Employment and Housing will also get a 3% raise on their $75,354 salary.

The law says these directors get the same raise as other state workers, but never more. So if others get 3%, they get 3% too.
