§ 10274 Governor Appointment Vacancy Rule

• •If a job that the Governor picks someone for becomes empty, the Governor gets to choose a new person.
• •The new person will only stay in the job until the original time for that job is up.
• •This rule was added in 2012.

Imagine the person in charge of parks in the state quits or can't do the job anymore.

The Governor will pick someone new to take over that job, but only until the time the old person was supposed to be done.
