§ 28118 License Approval Or Denial

Key Takeaways

  • •The person in charge must approve or deny a license after getting all the needed info.
  • •If they say no, they have to explain why in writing.
  • •They can't just ignore your application—they have to make a decision.

Example

You apply for a driver's license and give all the right papers.

The DMV must either give you the license or tell you why they won’t, like if you missed a test or have unpaid tickets.
