§ 1208 Permit Amendment Authority

• •The commissioner can modify any permit from Section 1205.
• •They can also suspend (pause) or revoke (cancel) the permit.
• •This power applies to all types of permits covered by Section 1205.

A new coffee shop gets a permit to operate. If the shop breaks health rules, the commissioner can suspend or take away that permit.

Because the permit was issued under Section 1205, the commissioner can use this law to pause or cancel it if the shop isn’t following the rules.
