§ 77260 Pepper Handler Commission Membership

Key Takeaways

  • •Only people who work with peppers (like selling or packing them) can be on the pepper commission.
  • •If you don’t work with peppers, you can’t be on the commission.
  • •Even backup members must work with peppers or work for a company that does.

Example

A farmer who grows and sells peppers wants to join the pepper commission.

This farmer can join because they work with peppers. But if a teacher who has nothing to do with peppers tries to join, they can’t.
