§ 66528 California Agricultural Districts

Key Takeaways

  • •California is split into 5 areas called 'districts' for farming rules.
  • •Each district has a list of counties in it, like District 1 has Riverside and San Bernardino.
  • •The people in charge can change the districts if they need to, but they have to vote on it first.
  • •The districts don't have to follow county lines exactly.

Example

If you're a farmer in Fresno, you're in District 5.

The law says Fresno is part of District 5, so any farming rules for that district apply to you.
