§ 77914 Agricultural District Value Boundaries

Key Takeaways

  • •California is split into 4 districts based on how much money the crops in each area make.
  • •District 1 has a lot of counties, mostly in the northern and central parts of California.
  • •District 2 covers some central and coastal counties.
  • •District 3 includes big counties like Los Angeles and Kern.
  • •District 4 is mostly southern California, near the border.
  • •The districts can be changed if most of the commission and the director agree, to keep things fair.

Example

A farmer in Fresno wants to know which district they are in.

Fresno is in District 2 because that's where the law says it belongs. This helps decide who represents the farmer in decisions about crops.
