Key Takeaways

  • •If your plants or trees are tagged or marked by the government, you can ask for a meeting to explain why.
  • •You can talk to the director or commissioner about the tag or notice.
  • •If the commissioner makes a decision you don’t like, you can ask the director to look at it again.

Example

You own a plant shop, and the government puts a warning tag on some of your trees because they think the trees are sick.

You can ask for a meeting to explain why the tag is there. If the commissioner says the trees must be destroyed and you don’t agree, you can ask the director to review the decision.
