§ 21732 Auctioneer Cattle Sale Exemption

• •Auctioneers don't need a special license or bond to sell cattle on the owner's property.
• •They can also sell cattle from nearby owners at the same auction.
• •If the cattle don't belong to the property owner, the auctioneer must say who the real owner is.

A farmer hires an auctioneer to sell his cows on his farm. The auctioneer also sells cows from the farmer's neighbor at the same event.

The auctioneer doesn’t need a special license for this sale, but they must clearly say which cows belong to the neighbor and not the farmer.
