§ 21733 Cattle Salesyard Licensing Requirements

• •You need a special permission (license) from the government to sell cows at a public place.
• •You also have to give the state $1,000 as a promise (bond) for each place where you sell cows.
• •If you don’t do these things, you’re breaking the law.

If you open a big market where farmers bring cows to sell, but you don’t get a license or give the $1,000 bond.

The law says you can’t do that. You have to get the license and pay the bond first, or you’ll be in trouble.
