§ 14621 Fertilizer Tonnage Reporting Requirement

• •The very last seller or distributor of fertilizer must file a tonnage report.
• •The report must be on a form or computer printout that the secretary has approved.
• •The report covers shipments received or deliveries made during the time periods the secretary decides.

A farm supply store is the final seller of fertilizer in the state and stops selling it after a year.

When the store closes, it must fill out the approved form and tell the secretary how many tons of fertilizer it shipped to farms during the time the secretary set, so the state knows the total amount used.
