§ 810 Property Valuation Evidence Rules

Key Takeaways

  • •This law has special rules for figuring out how much something is worth in court.
  • •It doesn’t apply to property tax cases.
  • •If another law has different rules, follow that law instead.

Example

You get into a car crash, and the court needs to decide how much your damaged car is worth.

The court will use the special rules in this law to figure out your car’s value, unless there’s another law that says to do it differently.
