§ 8428 Expanded Learning Program Report

Key Takeaways

  • •The state must write a report every two years about after-school programs.
  • •The report looks at how many kids go to these programs and how good the programs are.
  • •They check things like test scores, how often kids go, and if kids behave better.
  • •The report uses special numbers to match kids' info without sharing private details.

Example

Imagine your school has an after-school program where kids do homework and play sports.

The state will count how many kids join, see if their grades get better, and check if they come to school more often. Then they write a big report about it.
