§ 35541 District Boundary Adjustment Rules

• •If a small school area changes its borders, the bigger school district it's part of must change too.
• •If new land is added to the small school area, it automatically becomes part of the bigger school district.
• •If land is removed from the small school area, it is also removed from the bigger school district.

A small school area adds a new neighborhood to its borders.

The new neighborhood will also become part of the bigger school district that the small school area is in.
