§ 18339 Library District Naming

• •Every library district must have a name that includes the district's name and the county it's in.
• •The name should be different from any school district in the area.
• •The name cannot include a number.

A new library is being built in Sunnyville, which is in Orange County.

The library's name must be something like 'Sunnyville Library District of Orange County'. It can't be called 'Sunnyville Library District 1' because numbers aren't allowed. Also, if there's already a 'Sunnyville School District', the library's name needs to be different enough so people don't get confused.
