§ 3097 Optometrist Door-To-Door Solicitation Ban

• •If you have a license to be an optometrist (eye doctor), you can't go door-to-door to ask people to buy your services.
• •If you do go door-to-door to sell your eye doctor services, you could lose your license.
• •This rule is about keeping eye doctors from pushing their services on people at home.

An eye doctor knocks on your door and tries to sell you an eye exam.

This is not allowed. The eye doctor could get their license taken away because they went house to house to sell their services.
