§ 2468 Board Meeting Notice Requirements

• •The board must tell people before they have a meeting.
• •They have to follow the rules from the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act.
• •This law makes sure meetings are not secret.

If the school board wants to talk about closing a school, they have to tell parents and teachers when and where the meeting will be.

They can't just meet in secret; they have to give notice so everyone knows and can go if they want.
