AI SummaryVerified

§ 19080 Upholstered Furniture Bedding Labeling

Key Takeaways

  • •Any furniture or bedding that is stuffed (like couches or mattresses) must have a clear, permanent label on it.
  • •This includes anything sold, fixed, or even just shown to customers.
  • •The rule does not apply to things like gym equipment or exercise furniture.

Example

You buy a new couch from a store.

The couch must have a label on it that won’t come off easily. If it doesn’t, the store is breaking the law.
