§ 5176 County Alcohol Treatment Facilities

Key Takeaways

  • •This law only works in counties that have special places to help people who drink too much alcohol.
  • •The county leaders must say yes to using these places for helping drunk people and those who can't stop drinking.
  • •The county must have a plan that lists these special places and how many people they can help at once.

Example

If someone in a county drinks too much and needs help, they can go to a special place for treatment.

The county must have a plan that shows where these special places are and how many people they can help. If the county doesn't have this plan, the law doesn't apply.
