§ 11379 Tanf Federal Funding Sunset

This article shall become operative on the date that the Director of Social Services executes the declaration required pursuant to Section 11217, stating that increased federal financial participation from the Emergency Contingency Fund for State Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Programs is no longer available pursuant to the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) (Public Law 111-5) or subsequent federal legislation, including an amendment to the ARRA, that maintains or extends increased federal financial participation. (Added by Stats. 2010, Ch. 559, Sec. 34. (AB 12) Effective January 1, 2011. Note: Pursuant to this section, Article 4.5 (commencing with Section 11360), as added by Stats. 2010, Ch. 559, became operative on January 1, 2011.)
