§ 10602 Charitable Institution Oversight

The department shall investigate, examine and make reports upon: (a) The charitable institutions of the state and of the counties and cities of the state, other than county hospitals and institutions under the jurisdiction of another state department. (b) The public officers who are in any way responsible for the administration of public funds used for public social services which are administered by the department.
