§ 9477 Payment Of Assessment Warrants

Key Takeaways

  • •The state has a special fund called the 'Construction Fund' for certain projects.
  • •If the state owes money for these projects, it must pay using only this fund.
  • •Payments are made in the order they are received, like standing in line.

Example

Imagine the state promised to pay a company for building a new school.

The state can only use the money from the 'Construction Fund' to pay the company, and it has to wait its turn if other bills are ahead in line.
