§ 8840 Board Map Certification

• •After approval, the board's secretary has to sign the map to make it official.

Imagine your school wants to build a new playground. They draw a map showing where the swings and slides will go.

The school board must first say 'yes' to the map. Then, the school secretary has to sign it to show it’s officially approved. Without that signature, the map isn’t official, and they can’t start building.
