§ 8800 Land Description In Notices

Key Takeaways

  • •The notice doesn't need to give exact details about the land.
  • •It's enough to describe the land as a whole, like a big piece or pieces.
  • •The notice should include the name of the owner or owners as listed for taxes.

Example

If the city wants to tell people about a new rule for a big piece of land, they don't have to describe every little part of it.

They can just say something like 'the big field on Main Street owned by John Doe' instead of giving every tiny detail about the land.
